Gail Einarson-McCleery Honorary Consul Approves Vinarterta! Gail is a recipient of the Icelandic Order of the Falcon. She is the Culture and Youth Director of the Icelandic National League of North America, the INL Representative of the Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto & Honorary Consul of Iceland in Toronto.
In June of 2015 the Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto commissioned a Vínarterta dessert to be served at the National Club in Toronto in honour of the visiting President of Iceland, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson. This Vínarterta delight was plated with white and milk chocolate, berries and whipped cream.
