Just lean into the crack

‘If you wake up and the day feels broken just lean into the crack.’
– Björk

We’re in a different world right now and what we need for ourselves, and others are for us to lean in.

We’re not going back. That thing-that-shall-not-be-named has ushered in a massive evolution calling for reset and balance.

We’re looking for security during this time of …? Pandemonium? Chaos? Mayhem?
Nothing-like-this-global-hubbub?

We’re feeling heightened emotion and there is only one subject on our minds.

We’re sensing the broken day needs us.

Is it asking us to align with our inherited indomitable doer? Fixer? Healer? Grit? Drive? Tenacity? Creativity?

Haltu áfram! Keep going!
(We say to our inner doubter when we think it’s just too much.)

We’re moving forward when we decide to lean in and focus on helping people, we say.

We need the transformation, we say.

We need a kinder, gentler path, we say.

We are hungry for leadership, hungry for reassurance, and hungry for solutions, aren’t we?

We are seeing the crack in the invisible thing that’s happening, acknowledging it.

We are hearing the voice that says that we are the change we wish to be in our lives, and totally get it.

And so for ourselves, and others we shift.

And although a little bit panicked we know everything is going to be ok. It really is.

And we remember it’s Easter and Passover, and we recognize the brokenness.

And think about our beloved ones and cultural traditions and customs that have our back when we want them to.

And they seem even more important when what’s unfolding otherwise makes no sense.

And so we just lean in and show ourselves, family, friends and the world our good, vital and undefeatable selves.

And focus on what we can create from this opportunity.

And know we are not alone and we can change the outcome, together.

And maybe create new traditions.

(Just because we don’t know how in this minute doesn’t mean we can’t do it.)

Happy Easter! Happy Passover!

To unbroken happy days coming soon.
